Rey Urzua is a Chilean photographer, currently living in Cancun, México.
The need of expression drove Rey Urzua to artistic photography and after living several years in the southeastern part of Mexico, he discovered a profound interest in the legacy of indigenous cultures of the country and he focused in the Mayan communities.
"The perpetuation of moments and demons through art allows us to ponder and that leads us to expansion of consciousness through the observation of beauty in its various manifestations... "Art is a spiritual exercise", says the artist.
